It's Monday, it's boot-spotting. Get stuck in as we bring you our selection of the best boots on show from planet football.
DeShorn Brown (Jamaica) adidas F50 adizero
Jamaica's DeShorn Brown took on Leo Messi and Argentina this week in the Copa America. Brown, who snapped a selfie with his idol after the game was laced up in the signature Messi 'Neon Orange' adidas F50 adizero while the man himself was wearing his latest 'MESSI15' silo as Argentina beat Brown's Jamaica 1-0 thanks to a Gonzalo Higuain goal.
Jeannette Yango (Cameroon) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
After qualifying for the knockout stages Cameroon saw their World Cup dream shattered by China at the weekend. The pick of the boot spotting action from the Cameroon team came from Jeannette Yango wearing a slick black/volt custom edition of the Nike Mercurial Superfly IV.
Darko Brasanac (Serbia) adidas Nitrocharge 1.0
The Under 21 European Championship are in full swing in the Czech Republic this summer and it was the Serbian team we had our eyes on this week to see if they possess the same talent as their U20 side that won the U20 World Cup. Turns out they haven't, although they do triumph when it comes to boot selection with Darko Brasanac laced up in the adidas 'Hunt Series' Nitrocharge 1.0 as his side were hammered 4-0 by the host nation.
Jaromir Zmrhal (Czech Republic) Puma evoPOWER 1.2
Part of that Czech side that dished out a beating to Serbia was Jaromir Zmrhal who provided one of the best boot spots of the week. Providing the fist look at the next white/orange PUMA evoPOWER 1.2 colourway to sit in line with the next evoSPEED generation update.
Cecilia Santiago (Mexico) Under Armour SpeedForm
When Memphis Depay was training in a blacked out Under Armour SpeedForm prototype it was getting a lot of attention and a high demand to release it in that form. Mexico keeper Cecilia Santiago has managed to snag a leather pair to wear in the Women's World Cup in Canada this summer.
Werley (Santos) Nike Tiempo Legend V
To complete a full whiteout look with Santos' beautiful all white strip Werley has removed the Nike Swooshes from his Tiempo Legend V boots for a clean all over feel. Normally the unstitching or hiding of a brand's logo means the player is searching for a new boot contract but in this case we reckon it's purely aesthetic inspired.
Kenti Robles (Mexico) adidas F50 adizero
Kenti Robles has been busy toying with custom designs on miadidas for the Women's World Cup. The Mexican won't be winning any design prizes with her garish green/orange colourway on the upper of her F50 adizero boots but they do pull off a distinctive on pitch look in Canada.
Tim Cahill (Australia) New Balance Furon
After New Balance's prolonged tease period they've finally revealed their debut duo of boot silos. Tim Cahill has opted for the 'Furon' silo which is created for attacking players that 'take' chances rather than the 'Visaro' which is the control boot targeted at players who 'make' them.
Prince Albert II () adidas Predator Touch
Ok, stick with us on this one. This here is Prine Albert II of Monaco. So what's he doing in boot spotting? Well, he was playing some sort of charity game at the weekend wearing a 1996 version of the adidas Predator Touch, a classic of a boot and nearly 20 years old and for that reason he becomes our new favourite football playing royal, sorry Kevin Prince Boateng, you're out son.
Marko Petkovic (Serbia) Nike Magista Opus
Another Serbian catching our eye for his choice of footwear this week was Marko Petkovic wearing a NikeiD edition of the Magista Opus. Petkovic has opted for a simplistic white and red combination on the upper of his boots with match red Swooshes. Not the most exciting custom job you'll ever see but by no means the worst.
Marta (Brazil) Puma evoSPEED 1.4
Brazilian wizard Marta provided the first look at the highly anticipated and next-generation PUMA evoSPEED this week. Scheduled to arrive later this month the evoSPEED 1.4 was on the feet of Marta in training with re-configured 'PUMA' branding and a whole set of tech upgrades which will be shared in the coming days.
Slavoljub Srnic (Serbia) adidas F50 adizero
Slavoljub Srnic makes it a hat-trick of Serbians in this week's edition of Global Boot Spotting. Taking his time to switch into the X15.1 Srnic has modified his adidas F50 adizero 'Battle Pack' boots to add splashes of red on the unique print to match up with his country's colours.
