Parisian-based photographer Matthieu Genre stylishly captures the people behind the production of the Nike 'Winner Stays' tournament finale as crews from eleven different countries took to a courted game at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
Going one step further than simply snapping the action, Genre has produced a series of images that captures the people, the players, the names and the numbers of the 2016 Nike 'Winner Stays' global final. Breaking creative barriers with an alternative and raw style of events, it's one that lends itself perfectly to the urban influenced environment of expressive small-sided football.
On the court it was F.C Amsterdam who headed home victorious. A moment to cherish for the players who lifted the 'Winner Stays' title and a lifetime of beautifully captured stills from Matthieu Genre that will be reminisced over for years to come by those who took part.
