After battling the solid surfaces around the continent, the Nike FootballX winners from each participating European country descended on Amsterdam yesterday to go toe-to-toe to take home the European title.
From the depths of the underground to the heavyweight breeze around the block, the finale of the Nike FootballX 'Winner Stays' tournament reached its European conclusion with force. A titanic smash of energy and a retina riot of colour, it was all about the fast-flowing, free-thinking and ground-shaking game. Football played at pace, it's winner stays in its truest form, you lose you go.
With the title being fought out round for round, those repping their cities and crews came and went as a final smashed to the fore. 'Team Mat' taking home the title after going the distance, there's simply no way to win this easy - it's well deserved no doubt. Not just setting the pace pitchwards, Nike turned up the heat with both Skepta and Romelu Lukaku in attendance. The former playing out the night in style as the beat of the ball was replaced with the sounds of the shut down.
