PUMA have hand delivered Sergio Aguero's limited edition signature evoSPEED football boots in a bespoke 3.8 litre Nissan GT-R super car ahead of the Manchester Derby on Thursday. Why? Because modern football and that.
That's pretty big time, even by footballer standards. Still, bit more exciting than a UPS van turning up and leaving them in your neighbours porch, innit? The car in which the boots were delivered was wrapped in a corresponding "Derby Fever" design and driven by Yianni Charalambous, owner and founder of car customising company, Yiannimize. Flash indeed.
Aguero’s pair of Derby Fever evoSPEED boots are the fifth instalment of the PUMA Derby Fever Pack created to wear in big rivalry games. PUMA have already whipped up custom drops for Marcos Reus (Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke), Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal vs Chelsea) and Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid) as well as one for Olivier Giroud to wear in the North London Derby this weekend.
Available here. The boots that is. Not the 3.8 litre Nissan GT-R. As far as we know Pro:Direct Soccer don't stock those.
