adidas Launch 'The Enlightened Pack'
Adidas plan to light up the UEFA Champions League this week with the launch of 'The Enlightened Pack'. After a week of tease videos and imagery adidas will finally showcase their new boot collection on one of the world's biggest footballing stages in front of a global audience.
The Enlightened Pack uses reflective exposure innovation on the stripes and laces of the boots to capture and rebound the light of floodlights and cameras to create a unique display of visuals. This is the first time reflective exposure has been used across all of a brand's silos and with the amount of adidas' players competing in the Champions League it should make for a pretty dominant on-pitch presence.
The Enlightened Pack drops across all four adidas football footwear silos: adizero F50; Predator; Nitrocharge and 11Pro. Each pair features an all black base on which the reflective details are placed upon. The famous three stripes, laces and adidas logo will all reflect light making The Enlightened Pack one of the most create and innovative boot collections ever seen.
The demand for black football boots is always high with players sometimes reluctant to wear their favoured silo perhaps due to the more eccentric colourways plastered on it, so The Enlightened Pack is a welcomed addition for players looking for a more low key vibe with a bit of a twist.
Adidas first used reflective technology in their sports footwear in 2012 when launching the adidas adizero Smoke Spotlight colourway in American Football and what better time to introduce the tech into football, under the lights with the whole world watching.
Europe s top players will debut the reflective technology in a one off appearance during the forthcoming UEFA Champions League matches set to take place tonight and tomorrow (22nd / 23rd October). Keep your eyes peeled for the likes of Messi, Kaka, Xavi, Ozil, Lampard and RVP all lacing up in The Enlightened Pack in Europe this week.
