Arshavin's Blacked Out Superfly II Football Boots

Arshavin's Blacked Out Superfly II Football Boots

**UPDATE 15/09/10**

Its' been a while since Andrey Arshavin sported his player-only Nike Superfly II boots, but as he helped the Gunners dominate FC Bragge to an emphatic 6-0 victory and finally wore the exclusive Black/White colourway, and even bagged a goal in the process!

The Russia star was spied training once again in these unique player-issue only Nike football boots, but we weren't expecting him to wear them competitively in the Champions League! Infact, speaking to his official website, arshavin.eu, Andrey had this to say when asked about his performance:

"Last time you didn t manage to score. Today: a goal + you hit the bar. Have you been working on it during training or you just gave it some thought?

AA: It's simple - I put on another pair of boots ;)"

Possibly the most in-demand of all the Superfly II colourways, thanks to their unreleased nature and subtle styling. Arshavin had previously worn the latest release Bright Cactus Nike Mercurial Superfly II boots, but swapped into these for last nights Champions League encounter.

**Update 31/03/10**

Ahead of their immense Champions League Quarter Final tie with Barcelona this week, Russia and Arsenal forward Andrey Arshavin has been training in the new Nike Mercurial Superfly II football boots.

And like most of his Gunners team-mates, it seems Arshavin also has been enjoying the player-issue-only "blacked-out" prototype colourway versions.

Despite internet rumours to the contary, the only thing genuinely unique about Arshavin's boots is the colourway, which at the SoccerBible we're hoping Nike do the right thing and get these released - at the very least!

Arshavin was also spotted training in the retail Violet colourway of the Superfly II's complete with (RED) Laces (shame on you Nicklas Bendtner!) Check out our pair below for how the laces match up to the Superfly II's.

**Update**

He may have trained in the new football boots, but Arshavin seemingly hasn't had enough playing time in them yet as he sported the Vibrant Yellow/Black Supefly boots for the match at the Emirates. Well, there's always the next game...
