Pandev's adidas F50 adiZero Black Outs

Pandev's adidas F50 adiZero Black Outs

Inter Milan's Macedonian forward Goran Pandev wore blacked out versions of the new adidas F50 adiZero football boots during the Champions League Semi Final 1st leg with Barcelona.

Even though the global icon for the boots - Lionel Messi - was on the pitch, it was the Macedonian forward who has the honour of being amongst the very first to competitively debut the new F50 boots from adidas. Plenty of international F50 players - including Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain - have been training and breaking in the new adiZero's for several months now.

The new football boots are excitingly called adidas F50 adiZero - with the latter part of the name borrowed from adidas' massivelly successful range of performance running footwear. At the SoccerBible we're eagerly anticipating a return to the style, thinking and innovation that made the adidas F-series so in demand in the first place.

The major talking point is the lack of any TUNiT style components, chassis or stud changing, which makes this a boot aimed more at speed players, rather than tricksters or skill genuises than previous incarnations have tended to lean towards. Oh, and the boot weighs in at an incredible 165g. Check out the updated Boot Spy adiZero feature for more player spotting of the new boots.

With the adidas campaign for 50 days of fast beginning in earnest on 22nd April, after all the hype the full release of these new football boots is now not very far away...
