Samuel Eto'o Debuts Puma v1.10 SL Lightning Football Boots
We showcased these new football boots earlier this week, and of course it would have to be Puma star Samuel Eto'o who had the honour of debuting the Puma v1.10 SL Lightning Football Boots during the Supercoppa Italiana this weekend.
The Cameroon star helped his side to yet another trophy with a brace of goals, giving the Nerazzurri a 3-1 win over Roma in Milan. Wearing the limited edition Puma v1.10 SL boots in the Lightning Bolt colourway, Eto'o turned in a man-of-the-match performance and certainly looked to take advantage of the lightest football boots currently available!
However, like many top pro's, Eto'o had a pair of boots customised to his requirements. Not only did they feature a subtle "Eto'o" Boot ID personalisation on the side but these v1.10 SL boots sported an interesting mixed sole plate, featuring a combo of soft and fixed firm ground studs. That killer advantage showed as the Inter star was clinical infront of goal to notch up an impressive double.
The Puma v1.10 SL Lightning is the lightest boot currently available, thanks to a super lightweight construction and of course is a great looking boot to match. Designed in Usain Bolt's signature Jamaica colours of yellow and green, the boots include bespoke features to make this Puma football boot stand-out, with Swarovski crystals embedded in the heel, and Jamaica's national motto presented on the out-step: "Out of Many, One People".
