Dani Alves back in Superfly I boots

Dani Alves back in Superfly I boots

There was an interesting boot spot that came out of the Nou Camp last night as Barcelona took on Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Ray. Dani Alves, who was one of the first players to make the change from the Superfly II boots to the adidas adizero's, made the switch back to the original Nike Superfly I football boots...

It is an interesting change in boot selection for Alves who, for some time now, has been settled into his adizero football boots. From a close up inspection of the boots, we can see that they feature 'Dani Alves 2' personalisation on the outside of the boot along with a Brazil flag on the instep.

Before Alves made the switch, he was using these Superfly I boots when on international duty for Brazil back in August. Come the new year, we'll be keeping a close eye on the Brazilians boot choice. Will he return to the adizero boots or has he finally made his mind up and settled on the Superfly I boots?

Who knows, with this being Barcelona's last match before the Spanish winter break, Alves may have been giving his Brazil boots a last run out before he takes them back to his homeland for the holidays...
