Sergio Aguero Switching to adidas?
Just days after 'Kun' Aguero was spotted wearing the brand new Vapor VII colourway, the Argentine star has shocked Nike by turning out in a pair of leather boots from a rival brand!
Argentina are currently preparing for the Copa America, and if it wasn't a big enough surprise to see Aguero training in a pair of leather boots, after previously wearing synthetic Vapor's and CTR360's, it was a huge shock to see the boots adorning his feet are adidas!
It looks like Sergio Aguero has done quite a good job at removing the adi three stripes though, so a switch of brand allegiance may not be in the offing. But if Aguero is on the verge of switching to adidas, it will come as a massive blow to Nike who recently had star asset Nani poached by their arch-rivals.
This does of course cast an interesting shadow over Aguero's club future, because although the brands won't claim to play a role in where a player moves, it is interesting this comes at a time when Aguero is being heavily linked with adidas club Real Madrid.
