David Villa Wears New adizero miCoach

It was Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi who first debuted the launch colourway for the new adizero miCoach football boots back in early-September. Since then, we've had the full boot launch but are still yet to see and players competitively wear adidas' latest innovation.

What these pictures do confirm, is that David Villa is wearing the miCoach outsole featuring the chamber for the Speedcell. Meaning players are set to embrace the new outsole, the same as offered on retail, which adidas have said increases stability and rigidity to an area where needed. Although we're unable to confirm if Villa's boots have the miCoach chip installed so he can record his performance stats.

The black-out adidas F50 adizero miCoach football boots David Villa is wearing, are just like the boots shown to us at the launch event in Germany, although looking at the toe area and going from his boot history, Villa looks to be wearing the leather versions. But leather or synthetic, there's definitely a cool-factor about a blacked-out football boot.
