Fabregas Ready For Puma PowerCat 1.12 Debut
Three weeks ago the stage was set. One of the finest midfielders in world football was ready to make his Puma debut for FC Barcelona. However, the Spanish international suffered a right thigh injury in training at the start of October, putting the highly anticipated Puma PowerCat 1.12 debut on hold.
Now the Barcelona midfielder is closing in on a first team return at the Camp Nou, and he s bringing his new Puma football boots with him! After training earlier this week wearing the unreleased PowerCat 1.12, the Catalan will return to La Liga action this Saturday when Barcelona play Sevilla at the Nou Camp.
The Puma PowerCat 1.12 will feature new PUMA 3D DUO Power Shooting Technology, applied to the kicking area on the inside of the boot. Made from an innovative thermoplastic material with two different degrees of hardness, the boot has the advantage of being both highly responsive with extremely high rebound properties.
The newly created PUMA 3D PST DUO technology will enable improved grip on the ball through its exposed elements, and instead of absorbing the energy it increases the kicking power of the player. The kicking area employs a soft K-Leather while the lightweight micro-fiber material in the lateral quarter supports the mid-foot and helps to keep the weight of the boot to a minimum.
After having to wait a little longer for the official on-pitch debut of the new white/blue Puma PowerCat 1.12, the excitement has built further! Cesc will be given the debut honors this Saturday, while we expect a number of Puma pro s to swiftly follow! Share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook
