The recent arrival of the Umbro Geometra Pro has cast a shadow over Umbro's ultimate classic, with many players inlcuding Pepe converting to the control boot. With just two releases so far this year, Umbro have been quiet with their flagship heritage boot. This could be set to change though as Pepe puts his new Umbro Speciali boots through their paces!
From what we can see, Umbro have maintained the intuitive A-Frame structure that ensures the needed support and good fit for movement and ball striking. If the Speciali R football boots were a modern take on a true classic, Umbro could be making a return to more traditional designs with the re-introduction of a fold-over tongue.
