SoccerBible can reveal that the Man City duo were sporting an all-black pair of leather adizero miCoach football boots, despite speculation of the next-gen Predator being given some early competitive testing! After Messi's curtain-raising performance this week, expect Nasri, Silva and adidas' wealth of F50 talent to soon make the miCoach switch!
Understandably, there were cries from boot fans that City's skilful duo were testing the unreleased adidas Predator against Villareal after confirmed training spots of the new boot in action. Samir Nasri and David Silva were putting the next-gen Predator through its paces at Manchester City's training ground earlier this week.
Interestingly adidas have equipped some of its leading adizero midfield players with the new top-secret Predator. It's worth remembering that a number of F50 pro's made the switch to the adiPower. Could we be in line for another adizero exodus with the new upcoming Predator, shifting the adizero focus solely to 'speed players'?
The new adidas Predator will feature a complete redesign with new technologies. Developments have been made to a new lightweight synthetic upper designed to create a boot that offers improved ball control and feel. The latest Predator will follow in the footsteps of the adizero miCoach, becoming the first Pred to feature the technology.
