Van Persie Gets Custom Sole-Plate On New Predators

He's the man leading the Predator charge in the Premier League and now Arsenal's reliant Robin has landed a pair of bespoke adipower boots in time for the new year. Making his first appearance in the Black/Warning boots after a long stint in the UCL editions, Van Persie's footwear had some noticeable differences.

After a countless number of requests from the SoccerBible boot-spotting faithful asking for a full blown investigation into the matter, we can now bring you exclusive images of Van Persie's custom adipower Predator boots from Sunday's league clash between Manchester City and Arsenal. Unlike us boot-buying minnows, the world's best football players often don't settle for out-of-the-box normality. As was the case on Sunday, Arsenal's goal-machine had his SG Black/Warning adipower Predators fitted with a custom sole-plate. It was an unusual move for the Arsenal no.10 who had only previously worn the sprint-frame outsole. We can only assume that RVP wasn't a fan of the standard adipower SG stud configuration.
