Hamburger Midfielder Tomás Rincón Tests Unreleased adidas Silo
An all new breed of adidas football boots are on the horizon and once more they've stolen our attention. The black-out prototypes are continuing to be tested by European players across the continent. The latest player on our radar is Hamburger SV midfielder TomÁs RincÓn.
We've seen them on the feet of Sven Bender, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Dani Alves, Xabi Alonso and Manuel Neuer amongst others. A new silo means recruiting new players and adidas are on the hunt for a fresh squad to headline their hotly anticipated forthcoming silo.
Box-to-box midfielders are being targeted by adidas - players who represent 90 minutes of relentless energy. The boot has been developed to help harness and release energy with a new technologies including a striking band across the forefoot. A softly quilted Hybridtouch upper is used across the forefoot, combining with a newly constructed SprintFrame outsole that we're very excited about.
For such an important release, we're expecting adidas to use only the biggest stage to launch this boot. There's been no confirmation regarding release dates, but we'll be amazed if we don't see these boots at Wembley on May 25! Expect a huge campaign to follow - adidas will want these boots dominate the summer headlines.
With a new Predator model also set to land alongisde the introduction of their fourth silo, there are some exciting months ahead on the boot calender. This summer will be a hotly contested battle between Nike and adidas. We can't wait to see who comes out on top!
