Podolski Trains In Custom miadidas adizero Football Boots

We've enjoyed Lukas Podolski's debut season in the Premier League. A player known for putting the original adizero on the map during his memorable 2010 World Cup campaign, the charismatic forward has been having some more fun with the three-stripes, trying his hand at designing.

The former Bayern Munich and KÖln front-man has today shown off his latest adizero addition. Arriving at Arsenal's training ground with a new pair of shooting boots in hand, the German proudly pointed to his new f50 adizero design, custom coloured in rather familiar style!

Last year Podolski was used by adidas as part of their professional miadidas campaign, which saw a selection of seven European players design their own adizero boot. The Arsenal forward created one of the stand-out designs, using a stylish Silver/White/Red colour combo (above, right). So it's no surprise to see Podolski giving his new boots a strikingly similar look.

We're used to seeing Arsenal's no.9 wearing synthetic editions of the adizero, but this time he's switched it up, opting for an all white leather upper along with red branding across the three stripes and tongue. We expect Podolsk to just use these as training boots, but would love to see them hit the Emirates turf before the end of the season!
