THE PICK OF THE WEEK'S BEST FOOTBALL BOOTS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE
Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli) adidas adizero F50
adidas dropped a new adizero F50 colourway this week with a select few of their players moving into the solar slime boot. Lorenzo Insigne gave his pair a scoring debut in Napoli's 2-0 win at Sassuolo as Napoli remain third in Serie A.
Lukasz Fabianski (Arsenal) adidas Predator LZ
Liverpool ran into an inspired Lukasz Fabianski at the Emirates on Sunday. Arsenal's second choice keeper was given the nod ahead of Szezezcenezenczy and repaid Wenger's faith with a string of fine saves as Arsenal progressed to the FA Cup Quarter Finals. Fabianksi was laced up in the low key black/white/berry Predator LZ.
Antoni Sarcevic (Fleetwood Town) Nike Hypervenom
Blacking out the Nike HyperVenom appears to be a popular trait this season. The latest player to give his HyperVenoms the stealth treatment was Fleetwood's Antoni Sarcevic, who has pulled off a tidy looking job on the original launch colourway.
Rob Wielaert (Melbourne Heart) Mizuno Morelia Neo
Another blackout this week came via the feet of Melbourne Heart's Rob Wielaert. The Heart captain was wearing a blacked out Mizuno Morelia Neo in his side's 5-0 win over Wellington Phoenix. Wielaert's Mizuno's looked to be either professionally blacked out or are perhaps an original prototype of the boot, either way, they look good to us.
Angel Correa (San Lorenzo) adidas Predator LZ
Angel Correa's adidas Predator LZ boots were an exclusive release in the United States. The red/yellow colourway didn't hit the shelves in the UK but packs a strong on pitch presence. Correa's managed to get hold of a pair which he's been sporting in Argentina this season for San Lorenzo.
Joe Allen (Liverpool) adidas Predator adiPower
Joe Allen plucked out an old Predator model for Liverpool's FA Cup fifth round tie at the Emirates. The Liverpool midfielder has been wearing the Nike CTR for the majority of the season but has recently made the random decision to switch back into the adiPowers, originally launched in 2011.
Patrizia Panico (Italy) Pantofola d'Oro Lazzarini
Italy ladies' national team captain Patrizia Panico was representing her country in a pair of Pantofola d'Oro Lazzarinis at the weekend to pull off a complete patriotic Italian look. Pantofola d'Oro is a famous Italian brand so it's good to see them on show for one of their national sides.
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) adidas adizero F50
Karim Benzema was another player to wear and score in the latest adidas adizero F50 colourway at the weekend. The bright colourway isn't too dissimilar to the Samba Nitrocharge and is only expected to be worn for a few games by adidas' contracted players.
Luis Suarez (Liverpool) adidas Prototype (Liverpool) adidas Primeknit
Luis Suarez was snapped testing a mystery adidas boot at the club's training base earlier in the week. The striker's black-out boots appear to be a future model from the three-stripes and a boot that bears little resemblance to any of adidas' current silos. Suarez was back in his F50's on Sunday but it'll be interested to see what new technologies adidas have lined up with this release.
