THE PICK OF THE WEEK'S BEST BOOTS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE.
Hasan Al-Haidous (Al-Sadd) Nike Mercurial Vapor IX Tropical
The Nike Mercurial Tropical Pack was one of the best pre-World Cup packs released in the run up to this summer's main event but has received almost zero on pitch support. Al-Sadd's Hasan Al-Haidous has grabbed a pair and was in AFC Champions League action wearing them this week.
Ismail Ahmed (Al-Itihad) adidas Predator LZ SL
On paper the Predator LZ SL has everything, the perfect combination of lightweight F50 materials and the shooting technology of the Pred. Perhaps it's the increased price tag or the limited availability but for whatever reason the SL is a rare spot on the professional scene.
Cherie Rowlands (London Bees) adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 Carnaval
As with the Nike Tropical Pack the adidas Carnaval Pack has also received little player support on pitch. The collection is inspired by Brazil's biggest festival and London Bees 'keeper Cherie Rowlands has opted for the eccentric Nitrocharge design.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) Nike Mercurial Vapor IX CR7
When you've got your own boot with your initials, squad number and finished in gold you know you're doing alright for yourself. Ronaldo slipped into his new signature boot against Bayern Munich in the week, released to celebrate his Ballon d'Or win, only 100 pairs exist worldwide.
Aaron Pierre (Wycombe Wanderers) Umbro SX Valor II
Umbro launched the SX Valor II back in 2008 with players such as Deco and John Terry leading the player line up. Since then Umbro have had a bit of re-shuffle but Wycombe's Aaron Pierre is hanging onto his pair, the on-loan Brentford man was in action wearing them as his side slipped towards the football league trap door.
Mahamadou Diarra (Fulham) adidas Predator LZ
Fulham's chances of Premier League survival took a big blow at the weekend as they threw away a two goal lead to draw with Hull. The pick of the boot spotting action came via Mahamadou Diarra, who was wearing a custom Pred LZ colourway to match up with his side's home colours.
Naomi Cole (Millwall Lionesess) Nike Tiempo Legend V
One of the best custom paint jobs of the week was Naomi Cole's turquoise/white Nike Tiempo Legend V boots. A crisp two toned design on the Flash Pack canvas created a unique look for the Millwall Lionesess' player.
Lazar Markovic (Benfica) Mizuno Morelia Neo
Mizuno rolled out their new Morelia Neo design this week with the colour combo inspired by the host country of this years' World Cup - Brazil. The colourway will be worn at the tournament by Mizuno's athletes lead by Hulk but was debuted this week in Europe by a host of players including Benfica's Lazar Markovic.
Toni Kroos (Bayern Munich) adidas 11Pro
adidas managed to persuade Toni Kroos out of his favoured adiPURE IV boots for Bayern's Champions League semi final first leg at the Bernabeu. With the whole world watching adidas wanted their players in the latest boots but Kroos met them half way by sporting the new 11Pro on the adiPURE IV soleplate
Xiang Hantian (Guizhou Rehne) Nike Mercurial Vapor V
Another blast from the past this week came from Xiang Hantian who was wearing the fifth generation Nike Mercurial Vapor. The Vapor V was originally launched in 2009 and five years later it's good to still see them on pitch. Top throwback.
Fan Yunlong (Guizhou Rehne) adidas Predator LZ
The adidas Predator LZ that Fan Yunlong was wearing this week is in fact the women's specific colourway of the boot. A decent looking design it's fair to say but let's hope it's only football boots that Yunlong shops for in the women's department.
