It's Monday, it's boot-spotting. Get stuck in as we bring you our selection of the best boots on show from planet football.
Djelaludin Sharityar (Afghanistan) Puma evoSPEED 1.3 F947
Six years after their first partnership PUMA and Ferrari revved their engines once more in March 2015 to drive another stunning limited edition football boot out of the showroom. The evoSPEED 1.3 F947 saw just a run of 947 pairs (the first street-legal Ferrari was created by Enzo F. in 1947) all of which were snapped up in minutes, including a pair bagged by Afghanistan's Djelaludin Sharityar.
Jermain Lens (Sunderland) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
Only a limited number of Nike athletes have slipped into the 'Tech Craft' Pack, a collection that sees a thin layer of leather welded onto the upper of the Nike's silos including the Mercurial Superfly IV worn by Sunderland's Jermain Lens. The Dutch summer signing was in action in the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday as the club's dismal start to the season continued.
Xavi (Al-Sadd) adidas Predator Instinct
Xavi began life in Qatar by making his Al-Sadd debut wearing his signature adidas Predator Instinct boot. The crazy design was inspired by the Catalan colours and featured his Barcelona squad number (6) on the sole as his rounded off his career a the Spanish giants just as a boot he wore for the best part of his career also moved on.
Nazirul Naim (Malaysia) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
You know when you're just chilling, sippin' on your Capri-Sun and someone throws a firework at you out of nowhere. Hate it when that happens, luckily Malaysia's Nazirul Naim was laced up in a pair of Nike Mercurial Superfly IV boots to make a quick get away, a stylish getaway too wearing his custom colourway.
Tom Schnell (Luxembourg) Lotto Zhero Gravity VII 200
Luxembourg aren't usually much use at producing anything on pitch but Tom Schnell's footwear grabbed our attention this week in his nation's 2-0 defeat to Belarus. The big Luxembourgian defender was wearing the latest boot from the Lotto Zhero Gravity series in the VII 200 launch colourway.
Timofei Margasov (Rostov) Mizuno Morelia Neo
Timofei Margasov takes the title of best boot/kit combo of the week by pairing up his Rostov colours with the "Blue/Yellow" Mizuno Morelia Neo edition. Ultimate visual satisfaction, we bet his house is immaculate, his bed sheets perfectly folded and his dog exquisitely groomed.
Sophie Ingle (Bristol) Under Armour Speedform
The Under Armour Speedform Leather in all black is one of the hottest old-school looking boots of the season for us. All of the brand's unique technology wrapped in a dark blanket of traditional style and Bristol's Sophie Ingle knows it. It's a big year for Under Armour in the football industry and they've started strong.
Alexander Hleb (Belarus) Puma V1.06
Chief Executive of the Scruffy-Low-Sock-Corporation TM Alexander Hleb was at it again at the weekend but his saggy socks were saved by one of the best boot choices of the weekend - the PUMA V1.06 in all black leather, a beauty at over ten years old but his socks are the sort of things Timofei Margasov has nightmares over.
Uros Djurdjevic (Palermo) adidas X 15.1
Uros Djurdjevic was on the scoresheet for Palermo at the weekend wearing his custom X 15.1 boots. Mixing things up with a "Blue/Volt" combo Djurdjevic has added his own take to the adidas Football Revolution in a paint job that takes a pinch of both current on-pitch colourways.
Kylie Davies (Reading) Nike Tiempo Legend V
Another custom colourway but this time from the Ladies' game as Kylie Davies went for a bold three-tone Nike Tiempo design at the weekend. With a kit/boot combo obviously not in mind Davies' boots would no doubt be popular release for players wearing red kits. Safe but stylish.
Phil Younghusband (Philippines) adidas ACE 15.1
Philippines' Phil Younghusband gave us a rare sighting of the adidas ACE 15.1 'Eskolaite Pack' this week. Launched alongside an X 15.1 version the collection was drenched in a covering of chrome for a distinct on-pitch presence or if you want to get all Science on us then Eskolaite is an uncommon Chromium Oxide mineral. Boom, there's your C in GCSE Science.
