It's Monday, it's boot-spotting. Get stuck in as we bring you our selection of the best boots on show from planet football.
Paul Pogba (Juventus) Nike Magista Obra
Custom specialist Paul Pogba created arguably his most iconic design yet this week when he laced up in a pair of Nike Magista Obra boots decorated with the French flag in tribute to the recent devastating events in the capital of his homeland. Pogba's unique paint job quickly went viral after he wore them for the first time in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
David Silva (Manchester City) adidas Ace Primeknit
David Silva made his long awaited return from injury on Saturday wearing a next-generation edition of the adidas ACE Primeknit. The Manchester City midfielder slipped into the complete blackout silo which could well still be a prototype version as adidas finalise their designs for a boot that is still a reasonable distance down the line.
Paulo Dybala (Juventus) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
The Nike 'Liquid Chrome' pack made an official on-pitch debut this week as the Swoosh dished out their latest toys to their deep pool of elite players. Juventus' Paulo Dybala was amongst a number of Superfly players to switch into the latest 'Urban Lilac' colour-up which twinkled under the Champions League lights. Festive.
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) adidas X 15.1
Karim Benzema jumped the gun as Real Madrid beat Eibar 2-0 on Sunday in La Liga. The French forward made a premature move into the next X 15.1 colourway which isn't scheduled to drop until the end of this week. Combining Black, White, Shock Mint and Shock Pink the update will land as part of the brand's new on-pitch collection for winter.
Marko Radas (Skendebeu) Puma Menotti Star
When only 511 pairs of a limited edition boot land you can pretty much write off your chances of seeing a pair on pitch but Marko Radas became the first player to lace up in the gold PUMA Menotti Star this week. Released at the beginning of this month the boot is inspired by César Luis Menotti - the World Cup winning Argentina coach. Beautiful.
Edson Mexer (Rennes) Nike Magista Obra
Representing the Magista in the 'Liquid Chrome' pack is a shiny "Metallic Pewter" makeover designed to catch the floodlights during the darkest stage of the season. Worn by players all across the world this week the colour update is a grower, we'll hold our hands up here, we weren't all that impressed when they came out but they look on point on pitch.
Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) Nike Hypervenom Phantom II
He's only gone and done it. Jamie Vardy scored in his 11th consecutive Premier League game on Saturday when he slotted low past David de Gea to overtake Ruud van Nistlerooy's record. An incredible achievement from a player who spent a large chunk of his career in non-league and he made history wearing the "Metallic Bronze" Hypervenom. Get the man a gold pair and a knighthood. We're gonna win the Euros.
Xavi (Al Sadd) adidas Predator Instinct
When a player has had a career as distinguished as Xavi you can hardly tell him what boots he should be wearing. Adidas have tried to tempt him into the ACE 15.1 but the Barcelona legend has remained in the Predator series sporting the "Solar Blue" Instinct release in Al Sadd's latest game.
Tony Tchani (Columbus Crew) Under Armour Speedform
Columbus Crew progressed to the MLS Cup after beating NYRB 2-1 on aggregate in the Eastern Conference Championship series. Tony Tchani switched into the new red Under Armour Speedform for the big game and although they lost the second leg 1-0 it was enough to earn Tchani and Columbus an MLS Cup date with Portland Timbers.
Jem Karacan (Galatasaray) adidas Predator Instinct Accelerator
Jem Karacan whipped out another classic from his limited edition collection this week as he opted for the adidas Predator Instinct Accelerator 1998 against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Launched as part of the 'Revenge Pack' the Accelerator joined two other Predator favourites in the 2002 Mania and 1994 original as adidas celebrated 20 years of the famous boot.
Juan Manuel Iturbe (Roma) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
Messi, Ronaldo, Lewandowski, Neymar, Balotelli, it seems as if everyone has their own colourway these days and Juan Manuel Iturbe is tired of waiting for Nike to sort him out so he's made his own and it's not a bad effort either. Blood red with black Swooshes and detailing creates a clean design that would no doubt be a popular drop should Nike ever opt to release it.
Mustapha Carayol (Huddersfield) Concave Volt
A redesigned and re-invigorated Concave are preparing to release a new line in December headlined by the Volt, a lightweight speed boot that incorporates Concave's unique technologies. Huddersfield Town's Mustapha Carayol is one of a few professionals to give the boot an early run out and we can expect to see more from the brand in the coming weeks.
