The final adidas releases of the year dropped in the shape of the new Black & White Pack this week as the Three Stripes kitted out their elite player pool for December. Along with a Primeknit collection the standard Ace and X silos took on a monochrome makeover with vibrant laces as sported here by Real Madrid's James Rodriguez.
Jesus Navas (Manchester City) New Balance Furon
Jesus Navas continues to solely fly the Furon flag in the Premier League for New Balance. Whereas the Visaro silo is widely worn in England's top flight the Manchester City winger remains in the Furon and has switched into the latest on pitch "Black/Impulse/Silver Mink/Thunder" colourway.
Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) New Balance Visaro
One of those mentioned Visaro players is Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey who laced up in the new "Lava/Fireball" design as his side beat Sunderland 3-1 on Saturday. The brightest drop yet from New Balance, the combo is focused on grabbing the brand some more on pitch visibility on what must be deemed a successful breakthrough year.

Wilfired Bony has a history of blacking out his footwear. During his time at Swansea he was wearing blacked out Mercurials before seemingly signing terms with Nike but now that contract looks like it may have expired as Bony has reverted back to the black out treatment this week. Your move Nike.

Northwich Victoria bowed out of the FA Cup second round at the weekend losing 3-2 to League Two Northampton Town. The pick of the boot spotting action came via the feet of the non-league side's Mohamud Ali who was wearing the 2014 World Cup Battle Pack edition of the discontinued adidas Nitrocharge 1.0.
Joel Grant (Exeter City) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
Exeter City progressed to the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday with a 2-0 win over League One Port Vale. Joel Grant stood out for more reasons than one at St James' Park wearing the latest Tech Craft offering from Nike. A collection that has so far received minimal on-pitch support, Grant opted for the Mercurial Superfly edition of the "Volt/Canvas" pack.

2016 blackout season is well underway already as numerous player have been spotted in their next-generation footwear for their respective brands. Barry Hayles was back in FA Cup action at the weekend at the grand old age of 43, a little bit older and a little bit heavier than his last outing in the competition. Plying his trade for Chesham United Hayles laced up in the "White/Black" adidas Kaiser 5 as his side were knocked out of the famous competition by League One Bradford City.

Columbus Crew's MLS Cup dreams were ended by Portland Timbers in the final on Sunday. In a game littered with defensive and goalkeeping mistakes the Timbers eventually held on for a 2-1 victory over a side that included Federico Higuain wearing a semi-blacked out version of the adidas Copa Mundial.

Thomas Muller opted for the leather editions of the X 15.1 as adidas moved their top players into their December colour updates but it was a losing start for Muller in his new footwear as Bayern were beaten 3-1 by Borussia Monchengladbach but remain top of the Bundesliga.
