Muhamed Bešić (Everton) Nike Magista Obra

Muhamed Besic doesn't like the Nike Magista Obra collar, nor does he like the latest colourway – which makes you wonder why he doesn't just wear a different boot entirely. Besic isn't alone however, he's one of a few players to trim the collar off to create a Flyknit Opus and the blackout is the mark of the unsponsored.

Jamie Jones breathed life back into the famous Predator at the weekend as his Stevenage side faced Northampton. The 2007 Predator Powerswerve was the goalkeeper's boot of choice in traditional black, red and white. A modern classic for players of a certain generation and a timeless design that we surely haven't seen the back of just yet.

Jetro Willems might sound like he should be a tractor driver on a farm in Shropshire, but he's not, he's a professional footballer for PSV, and he ain't wearing wellies either. During the top of the table clash with Ajax at the weekend Willems moved into the new 'Radiant Reveal' Nike Mercurial Superfly IV.

Continuing his 'eBae' shopping spree, Benoit Assou-Ekotto has picked up another pair of old school boots this week in the form of the Slime adidas Predator adiPower from 2011. The Saint-Etienne defender's recent move comes after he explained he won't prostitute himself to brands and would rather buy his boots on eBay. Keep surprising us Benoit.

Olivier Deschacht was also amongst the small number of Nike athletes to make an early appearance in the 'Radiant Pack' this week. The Anderlecht veteran was sporting the Tiempo Legend 6 design as his side were dumped out of the Europa League by Shakhtar Donetsk.

The man of the moment struck again as Marcus Rashford's solitary goal gave bragging rights to the red half of Manchester on Sunday. The Man United youngster was thrown into the starting XI a few weeks back still wearing his blacked out academy boots and Nike have been quick to promote him to their first team too by sticking him in the Metal Flash Vapor X.
