Another week of football, another step closer to the domestic season finale and the summer tournament kick off. We pick out our selection of the best boots on show from the past seven days of action.
Marouane Fellaini (Manchester United) New Balance Visaro
Marouane Fellaini struck against his former club Everton at Wembley on Saturday evening to help Manchester United reach the 2016 FA Cup Final. The Belgian midfielder was laced up in the latest New Balance Visaro colourway to open the scoring as United's 2-1 victory sets up a date with Crystal Palace.
Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) Puma evoSPEED 1.5
In the other half of the city it was business as usual for Manchester City with a 4-0 rout over Stoke. Notching from the penalty spot before being rested for their Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid this week, Sergio Aguero used the game to slip into the new evoSPEED Tricks design, a boot he'll wear in the Copa America.
Vincent Kompany (Manchester City) adidas ACE 16.1
Earlier in the week City played out a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United at St James' Park. Returning from injury Vincent Kompany remained in the blackout adidas ACE 16.1 boots he was spotted training in, sparking rumours that his contract with New Balance may have expired.
Evdokia Popadinova (London Bees) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
Evdokia Popadinova has played a creative card with her boots by matching up her London Bees home kit with a white, black and orange edition of the Nike Mercurial Superfly IV. The flow of the colour way is slightly disrupted by the lace holding sweet spot, but a tidy edition nonetheless.
Ruslan Nakhushev (Mordivia Saransk) adidas F50 adizero Messi
A couple of adidas F50 adizero Messi editions were on show in Russia last week with Mordivia Saransk's Ruslan Nakhushev and Yevgeni Lutsenko both paying tribute to the Argentinean magician. Since the retirement of the F50 adizero series, Messi has been awarded his own specific silo rather than colourway, a boot that adidas have big plans for this summer.
Jonathan Pitroipa (Al-Nasr) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
Similar to the Cristiano Ronaldo signature 'Silverware' edition, Jonathan Pitroipa has designed his own pair of silver Nike Mercurial Superfly IV boots. Wrapped in the shiny upper with accompanying black detailing, it's a sleek all-round look for the Al-Nasr man.
Saud Kariri (Al Hilal) Nike Tiempo Legend 6
Another player with a strong Nike custom game last week was Saud Kariri sporting a pair of yellow and black Nike Tiempo Legend 6 boots. The Al Hilal man has opted for a bold and bright design on the heritage silo that has so far been kept relatively reserved by the Swoosh.
Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea) Puma evoPOWER 1.3
As PUMA rolled out their latest Tricks collection this week there was a number of their big stars sporting the split design. Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas was in action wearing the latest evoPOWER 1.3 as his side travelled home from Bournemouth with a 4-1 win in the bag. Expect Fabregas to wear the design through EURO 2016 this summer.
Andy Bond (Crawley Town) adidas Predator LZ
Crawley's Andy Bond took things back to 2012 this week by wearing the launch colourway of the very first adidas Predator LZ. Split into five 'Lethal Zones' the LZ boot focused on first touch, dribbling, sweet spot, drive and passing to ensure it was the ultimate Predator. The first of the penultimate Predator series, it's a boot that will strongly be remembered, despite the alternative launch colourway.
