New colourways, unreleased designs and limited edition debuts were the order of the week as we look back on another seven days of football. Throw in some throwback representation and custom referee designs and it's time to have a little scroll down.
Edinson Cavani (PSG) Nike x EA Sports Hypervenom 3
Edinson Cavani made the switch into the new collaboration between EA Sports and Nike at the weekend. The PSG striker was sporting one of just 2500 pairs of the limited edition design, launched ahead of FIFA 18 dropping this month.
Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan) Nike x EA Sports
Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi joined Edinson Cavani in the limited edition Nike x EA Sports Hypervenom 3 as his side scraped a late 1-0 win over Genoa at the San Siro. Icardi and Cavani were penciled in to wear the boots for one game only and are expected to switch back into the 'Lock In Let Loose' colourway for their next fixtures.
Julian Draxler (PSG) adidas Nemeziz 17.1
Another PSG player in new footwear this weekend was Julian Draxler who gave a premature debut to the currently unreleased adidas Nemeziz 17.1 colourway. The vibrant red design will drop before the end of the month as part of the next adidas on pitch collection.
Eoghan Murphy (Gold Coast City) adidas F50 adizero
From the old to the new and Gold Coast City's Eoghan Murphy dug into his archive this week by plucking out the "Solar Green" adidas F50 adizero from March 2015. The final model in the F50 series before it was replaced by the current X series.
Anthony Blackhouse (Referee) Nike Mercurial Superfly V
Another #CelebrityRefs sighting as Anthony Blackhouse decided his standard issue referee boots weren't up to scratch. The man in the middle has whipped up a custom pair of black and white Nike Mercurial Superfly V boots to help keep up with his players. Open his match-day kit bag and you'll be greeted with a tub of slick hair gel, personalised comb and a full face of SWAG. Next, we wanna see embroided whistle with red and yellow cards on the upper. Make it happen Anthony.
Thomas Phibel (Anzhi Makhachkala) Nike Tiempo Legend 6
More custom creations were on show in Russia as Thomas Phibel was sporting a pair of Nike Tiempo Legend 6 boots with volt "Safari" pattern backing up a cleaner upper. Smart stuff from the Anzhi Shakalackaboomting man.
Jimmy Ockford (Reno 1868) Concave Halo+
Another unreleased boot was on show this weekend if you knew where to look. Nevada based side Reno 1868 had Jimmy Ockford amongst their ranks wearing the next black and red Concave Halo+ colourway, which is set to launch later this week.
Junior Alonso (Lille) adidas ACE 17.1
Junior Alonso's adidas ACE 17.1 colourway is part of the same pack as Julian Draxler's Nemeziz 17+ boots. The new collection made its way onto European pitches this weekend ahead of being rolled out later this week as the next official on-pitch pack.
Angel Di Maria (PSG) adidas X17+ Purespeed
Make it a hat-trick of PSG players this week as Angel Di Maria was also amongst those wearing the new adidas on-pitch collection. Drenched in the same matching red as the corresponding ACE and Nemeziz silos, the X will takeover on-pitch from this weekend onwards moving into Autumn.
Daniel Carrico (Sevilla) adidas X 17.1
And that's your full adidas pack out in the open. Sevilla's Daniel Carrico completed a full look at the upcoming collection by slipping into the alternative X 17.1 colourway, which flips the black and red to create a more low-key vibe.
Leroy Fer (Swansea) Nike Tiempo Legend 7
Leroy Fer has recently blacked out the entire upper of his Nike Tiempo Legend 7 boots. The Swansea midfielder began the season wearing the launch colourway but has switched into the stealth design to perhaps negotiate a better deal with the Swoosh.
Eden Hazard (Chelsea) Nike Mercurial Vapor Flyknit Ultra
Yeah, this ain't exactly a new one but it's hard to leave it out every time you see the Nike Mercurial Vapor Flyknit Ultra. Eden Hazard was wearing the limited edition boot as Chelsea hammered Stoke 4-0 on Saturday.
