As the clocks go back and the hi-vis ball comes out, we're taking a look at who else lit up pitches this week with their boot choices. From throwback swooshes to futuristic stripes. Here's our pick of the action with custom colourways, limited editions and the latest drops.
Boubacar Haidara (Mali) Nike Mercurial Superfly V
Mali lost 2-0 in the third-place play off of the FIFA U17 World Cup against Brazil last week. The pick of the boot spotting action came from Mali's full-back Boubacar Haidara wearing a custom red and white pair of the Nike Mercurial Superfly V boots.
Aleandro Rosi (Genoa) Nike Mercurial Superfly V
Alexandra Rosi was also sporting a custom Nike Mercurial Superfly V design this week as Genoa lost 1-0 at SPAL. Rosi's all white design created a smart look that hid any Swoosh branding for the cleanest of canvases.
Presnel Kimpembe (PSG) adidas Glitch 17
Presnel Kimpembe made his first appearance as the face of the adidas Glitch in France this week as PSG beat Nice 3-0. Kimpembe opted for the bright pink editions from the recently released Hacked Pack.
Josh Murphy (Norwich) adidas F50 adizero
Josh Murphy almost gave Norwich a League Cup upset when he opened the scoring against Arsenal at the Emirates last week wearing the all white adidas F50 adizero. A boot as clean as his chipped finish.
Taras Mykhalyk (Lokomotiv Moscow) adidas 11 Pro
Taras Mykhalyk took us back to October 2014 at the weekend by lacing up in the adidas 11Pro Crazylight edition. Launched as part of a Crazylight takeover across all adidas silos, the 11Pro weighed 80g lighter than the standard edition.
Faitout Maouassa (Rennes) Nike Mercurial Vapor XI
More custom Mercurial magic came via the feet of Faitout Maouassa. The Rennes man has created a bespoke blue and volt colourway for a tidy alternative take on the Mercurial Vapor XI upper.
Wayne Rooney (Everton) Nike T90 Laser IV
Wayne Rooney plucked another Nike T90 Laser silhouette out of the archives on Sunday as he laced up in the blue and silver colourway of the popular fourth generation boot. Another throwback boot, but another defeat for Everton as they lost 2-0 to Leicester City.
Edinson Cavani (PSG) Nike EA Sports Hypervenom 3
Edinson Cavani returned to the limited edition collaboration between Nike and EA Sports as PSG beat Nice 3-0. Cavani scored twice in the first half as his side cruised to victory without Neymar.
ladislav Nikiforov (SKA Khabarovsk) Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII
Another player taking us back a few years this week was SKA Khabarovsk's Vladislav Nikiforov wearing the launch colourway of the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII from March 2012.
Jonjoe Kenny (Everton) Umbro Velocita 3
Everton's Jonjoe Kenny is beginning to get more of a taste for first team football this season. The Toffee's youngster has been snapped up by club sponsor Umbro to wear the Velocita 3 silo.
Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) Nike Air Legend R10
Jack Grealish has managed to get hold of a pair of Nike Air Legend R10 boots. The Aston Villa midfielder sported the throwback signature design for Ronaldinho in training this week. A colourway that was originally launched in 2006.
