CR7 Trains in Kim Jones x Nike Mercurial Superfly 360

Cristiano Ronaldo trained in the Kim Jones x Nike Mercurial Superfly 360 at Parc des Princes on Monday night, as Real Madrid got a feel for the Parisian surface ahead of their Champions League Last 16 second leg.

Nike have looked towards their main man to front the limited edition collaboration with Kim Jones (Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton), and CR7 will wear the design on the biggest of stages when Real Madrid take their 3-1 lead to the French capital on Tuesday night.

The fashion flipped inspiration behind the graphic upper comes from Jones' childhood growing up in Africa, following his hydrogeologist father to Kenya and Botswana. Jones takes inspiration from his admiration of animals for his Mercurial mash-up. “The cheetah is the fastest land animal, so it makes complete sense as an inspiration for me,” he says.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to debut the Mercurial Superfly 360 x Kim Jones as he looks to save Real Madrid's season by overcoming PSG to keep the dream of winning three consecutive UCL titles. A limited number of the boots are scheduled to drop exclusively at the Nike Store Paris Champs Elysees and on nike.com during halftime of the PSG vs Real Madrid game. A smaller number will also hit selected retailers next week.
