PSG youngster Timothy Weah switched into the Nike PhantomVSN at the weekend to open the scoring against Bayern Munich in Austria. Weah was wearing the "Raised in Concrete" colourway which will drop on July 30, as his side eventually lost 3-1 to the Bundesliga Champions.

Andros Townsend (Crystal Palace) Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 Heritage Pack

Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend returned to pre-season in the 1998 Mercurial inspired Vapor 360 from the Nike HeritageiD pack this week as his side took on Oxford. The design has become a popular choice with professional players, with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also sporting the nostalgic design in training.

David Luiz (Chelsea) Nike Premier

Chelsea defender David Luiz has returned to training wearing one of the most popular pre-season boots away from the professional scene. The Brazilian has laced up the first-generation Nike Premier for a classic and comfortable feel.

Silvio Proto (Lazio) New Balance Furon 4.0

New Balance rolled out their first colourways of the 2018/19 season last week. A bright blue Tekela 1.0 silo was joined by this vibrant Furon 4.0 effort worn by Lazio goalkeeper Silvio Proto in training this week.

Ethan Ampadu (Chelsea) adidas F50 adizero

Ethan Ampadu has managed to get hold of a pair of 2012 adidas F50 adizero boots. The near blackout colourway was a standard release and the Chelsea youngster has been wearing the leather version in training this pre-season.

Liam Trotter (AFC Wimbledon) adidas X 15.1

Liam Trotter was wearing one of the most significant adidas boots in recent history this week. The X 15.1 in "Solar Yellow" was part of the adidas revolution that replaced the Predator and F50 series in 2015. Three generations of X have since been released but the Wimbledon man is hanging on to his OG's.

Weston McKennie (Schalke 04) adidas Glitch 18

Weston McKennie was sporting a Russian inspired Glitch 18 outerskin this week. The design was released by adidas during the 2018 World Cup and was worn briefly by Paulo Dybala before Argentina crashed out in the Last 16.

Reiss Nelson (Arsenal) adidas Glitch 18

Another player in the adidas Glitch 18 this week was Arsenal's Reiss Nelson. Sporting an unreleased design with the word 'Glitch' plastered across the outside of the skin, it's a bold look in bright blue.

Zhang Xizhe (Beijing Guoan) Nike Mercurial Vapor 360

To coincide with the stunning Nigeria 2018 World Cup home shirt, Nike also dropped a matching Naija-inspired Mercurial 360 boot design on NikeiD. Beijing Guoan's Zhang Xizhe has picked up a pair to match up with his team's colours. Smart.

Soren Dieckmann (Borussia Dortmund) Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 Neymar

Borussia Dortmund came from behind to beat Liverpool 3-1 in Charlotte at the weekend. The pick of the boot spotting action came from Soren Dieckmann who matched up the BVB home kit with the Neymar "Meu Jogo" Mercurial Vapor 360, which was worn exclusively by Neymar in the World Cup KO stages.
