It's back. As the Premier League season declared itself open for business we're taking a look back at the past seven days to see who was wearing what. From custom designs, to limited editions, to the latest colourways. Let's go...
Eberechi Eze (QPR) Nike Mercurial Vapor Flyknit Ultra
Queens Park Rangers youngster Eberechi Eze put in an impressive goalscoring performance on Saturday as his side slipped to a 2-1 home defeat Sheffield United. Eze was wearing the limited edition Nike Mercurial Vapor Flyknit Ultra boot that served as a transition silo from the Vapor XI to the Vapor 360.
Myenty Abena (De Graafschap) Nike Mercurial Vapor X
Myenty Abena went back a couple of boot generations at the weekend by lacing up in the Nike Mercurial Vapor X "Tech Craft" edition. The popular series featured leather uppers across Nike's full leading silo collection.
Michail Antonio (West Ham) Umbro Velocita 4
West Ham prop up the Premier League table after the opening round of fixtures. The Hammers went down 4-0 to Liverpool at Anfield, with Michail Antonio having to wait a little longer to open his new season account wearing the new generation Umbro Velocita 4.
Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) adidas X 18+
Jamie Vardy looks to have swapped the Swoosh for Stripes over the summer. In a move that has happened without much noise, the Leicester striker made his 18/19 debut wearing the "Team Mode" adidas X 18+ against Manchester United. Vardy had been wearing the CR7 signature Mercurial towards the end of last season which indicated his contract could've been up.
Adriano Grimaldi (1860 Muenchen) Nike Magista Obra II
Adriano Grimaldi was spotted wearing the Air Max 97 inspired Magista Obra II design at the weekend as 1860 Muenchen lost 1-0 to Uerdingen. The Magista dropped as part of a four silo pack in 2017, with all of the designs mirroring iconic Air Max aesthetics.
Jamie Devitt (Carlisle United) adidas Predator Accelerator Electricity
The adidas Predator Accelerator Electricity was a limited edition release but unsurprisingly we're beginning to see more of them popping up across the professional scene. Just 1999 pairs were released to mark the year of the original design, and Carlisle United's Jamie Devitt managed to snag a pair to kick off his season in.
Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) Nike Hypervenom 3
Robert Lewandowksi gave a competitive debut to the "Raised on Concrete" Nike Hypervenom 3 at the weekend. The Polish striker was at his ruthless best to fire in a hat-trick as Bayern Munich beat Eintracht Frankfurt 5-0 to lift the German Super Cup.

China's Jie Zhi stood out at the U20 World Cup this week by wearing a custom pink edition of the Nike Mercurial Superfly V. Bold in its design, the matching laces provided the finishing touch.
