Rapinoe & Heath Debut "Volt/Black" Nike Mercurial Colourway

A colour that runs deep in the history of the Mercurial line, Nike are gearing up to unleash another "Volt" colourway across the speed silo. Stepping out in the upcoming number, US Women's National Team players Megan Rapinoe and Tobin Heath landed on pitch last night in the soon to drop "Volt/Black" instalment.

For the USMNT, household names Megan Rapinoe and Tobin Heath both slipped into the "Volt/Black" Mercurial Vapor XII colourway for the first time as they took on Mexico as part of the CONCACAF Women's Championship group stage. Boots containing fire power as well as an electric colour-up, both players got on the scoresheet in this fixture that saw the USWNT win 6-0.

Previous “Volt” Mercurial renditions include the Mercurial Vapor X and Superfly IV "Volt/Hyper Pink”, original launched in February 2015 as part of the Nike “Highlight Pack”, as well as the “Volt/Retro/Imperial Purple” Mercurial Superfly III and Vapor VII from 2011. The latest design features an all-volt upper with a contrasting black trim, black Mercurial branding and a black sole plate.

The "Volt/Black" Nike Mercurial boots are set for a US exclusive drop later this month.
