Throwback flavour, signature style and limited edition fire. It's that time of the week again when we pick out our selection of the best boots on show from the past seven days of world football. Let's see who made the cut...
Lukas Podolski (Vissel Kobe ) adidas X 506+ Tunit
Harking back to the day when he wore them on their original release, Vissel Kobe's former German international Lukas Podolski was only too happy to slip into the newly released adidas X 506+ Tunit. The design took an exact 1:1 upper from the 2006 launch of the OG, and placed it on the X 19 tooling.
Valentino Lazaro (Inter Milan) adidas X 99.1
The other classic from the adidas archive remixed with the X and released recently was the X 99.1, and it was worn by Valentino Lazaro during the Inter training session that followed their 3-1 win over Sampdoria.
Jack Stephens (Southampton) Nike T90 Laser III
Ahead of the match against Spurs at the weekend Jack Stephens took part in Southampton training in a pair of Nike T90 Laser III in the "White/Black/Blue" colourway from 2010. That ShotShield technology and off-centre lacing still looking the part nine years on.
Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona) adidas Predator Precision DB
Barca playmaker, Ivan Rakitic loves a bit of throwback Predator action, because he's human with eyes. This week in training he switched things up again, slipping on the Predator Precision 'David Beckham' edition that was part of the '25 years of Predator' celebration collection released earlier this year.
Will Buckley (Bolton Wanderers) Nike Hypervenom Phinish II
Bolton narrowly lost out to Portsmouth this week, but Will Buckley caught the eye for his choice of Nike Hypervenom Phinish II from 2015. This was only the second colourway for the Hypervenom II, and it used the exact same graphic from the launch, coating the whole boot in the same vibrant orange.
Sam Greenwood (Arsenal) PUMA Future 4.1
17-year old striker Sam Greenwood is trying to catch the eye in Arsenal's youth ranks, and he took it literally this week, coming off the bench in the U23 match against Liverpool in the brightly coloured PUMA Future 'Grizi 10 year' special edition, which was designed in collaboration with Antoine Griezmann himself.
Chimy Avila (Osasuna) adidas Predator X
For Osasuna's 1-1 draw against Levante this weekend, Chimy Avila played in 2010's adidas Predator X World Cup colourway. The "Black/Sun Yellow" combo was spread across every adidas leading silo for the South Africa showpiece.
Serge Aurier (Tottenham Hotspur) Nike Mercurial Superfly I
Things didn't quite work out the way Serge Aurier might have hoped this week, and that despite making a stunning start by turning up for training in the Mercurial Superfly I. He then proceeded to get sent off against Southampton, with Spurs just about able to claw a 2-1 win.
Hakan Calhanoglu (AC Milan) adidas F50 adizero Messi
Hakan Calhanoglu has been trying out a few different pairs of adidas boots recently. After playing in the Predator Precision last week he opted for the adidas F50 adizero special Messi colourway from 2013 in Milan's 3-1 loss to Fiorentina.
Jose Campana (Levante) Nike Magista Obra
Pulling on one what is arguably one of the best designs that graced the Magista Obra, Jose Campana opted for the 2015 'Silver Storm' pack as his side lost 3-1 to Real Betis. Looked the biz though.
Arno Verschueren (NAC Breda) Nike CTR360 Maestri III
NAC Breda were able to overcome Top OSS in the Ereste Divisie this week and their midfielder, Arno Verschueren, caught our eye by wearing the Nike CTR360 Maestri III in the "Mint/Black/Lime" colourway.
