Bayern Munich returned to training this week ahead of an anticipated re-commencing of the 2019/20 Bundesliga season, and if that wasn't a good enough sight on its own, Ivan Perisic turning out in some throwback gold will do it.

While players commence some sort of bizarre mid-pre-season, Croatian midfielder Perisic laced up the classic Nike Tiempo Legend II in that crisp "White/Gold" colourway. The boot, which has a striking resemblance to the Ronaldinho signature design, was originally launched in 2006 as the second generation Tiempo Air Legend, so to see it on an elite training pitch 14 years later is sight to behold. There can't be many left in circulation.

Perisic usually wears the Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII, but he's currently returning from an ankle injury picked up in February so he may be opting for the more comfortable, protective and supportive ride of the Tiempo. In all honesty the reason is irrelevant, it's just good to see players out on the pitch again, and what a boot this was.

Stay safe, stay at home, and patiently wait for football to return, because it will...
