Paulo Dybala Trains In Next-Gen adidas COPA+

Juventus training yesterday, and Paulo Dybala stepped out in the soon-to-be-released 2021 adidas Copa+ boots, giving us an early look at the expected launch colourway of the newly reworked silo.

For their first pack of the year, adidas launched the ‘Superlative Pack’, with the all-new Predator Freak taking centre stage. But conspicuous by its absence was the COPA, which, like the Predator, is due an expected upgrade. What appeared to be a sleek blacked out prototype was spotted on the feet of Argentine Paulo Dybala back in October, and then on Joao Felix in November. But a slight change to that was spotted soon after…

Back in January, Nicolas Nkoulou of Torino played in a similarly blacked out boot, although this time there was a shimmer of gold through the soleplate. Now Dybala seems to have confirmed that this look is likely to be the launch colourway for the next-gen COPA, which must be ready to drop in the near future.

The sumptuously wavy reworked upper is indeed sat on top of a premium looking golden soleplate that also wraps around the heel. The boot still features a similar wavy aesthetic to its predecessor, although the flow heads in a slightly different direction, from heel to forefoot. Showing off the new look COPA+ in training, Dybala, as the face of the silo, has all but confirmed that this will be the launch colourway.

Expect the next-gen adidas COPA to drop in the near future...
