Global Boot Spotting

Plenty of Boot Spotting from the International fixtures this week, bolstered by action from the Women’s game and lower leagues, bringing us our regular fix of new and upcoming releases, special editions, custom creations and throwback classics.

Toni Duggan (Everton Women) adidas Predator Freak+

The adidas EQT pack finally arrived on European shores this week, and Everton's Toni Duggan was quick to slip into the Predator Freak + for her side's 3-0 loss to Arsenal.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (Burton Albion) PUMA Future Z 1.2

PUMA dropped the 'Under The Lights' pack last week, giving the Future Z 1.2 and Ultra 1.3 new paint jobs for the Champions League. Of course, we then went straight into an international break, meaning no Champions League action, and therefore no representation on pitch... At least until Burton's Cameron Borthwick-Jackson laced up in the Future Z 1.2 for his side's League One match against Plymouth.

Hwang Ui-Jo (South Korea) adidas X Speedflow.1

South Korea took on Syria in this week's international fixtures, and while on paper that may not get any pulses racing, it did provide a glimpse at what must be an upcoming white colourway for the adidas X Speedflow.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea) adidas F50 Ghosted

Callum Hudson-Odoi is a well known fan of anything F50 related, so it was no real surprise to see him switch into the F50 Ghosted from the adidas UCL Pack for training this week.

James McClean (Republic of Ireland) Nike Mercurial Superfly 8

James McClean could literally have his own Boot Spotting feature. This week alone while away on international duty with Republic of Ireland he's been spotted in two different custom Nike Mercurial Superfly 8, as well as the Nike Phantom GT x Skepta.

Mateusz Klich (Poland) Nike Mercurial Vapor 13

Another example of customisation came courtesy of Mateusz Klich, who wore a specially created pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 as Poland hammered San Marino 5-0 this week.

Rosealla Ayane (Tottenham Hotspur Women) Mizuno Morelia Neo III β

Switching things up, Tottenham women's Rosella Ayane wore the new “Scuba Blue/White/Scuba Blue” colourway of the Mizuno Morelia Neo III β from the 'Next Generation' pack in her side's 2-1 defeat to Brighton.

Melayro Bogarde (Netherlands U21) adidas F50 Adizero Prime

Award for the best kit/boot match up this week comes from Netherlands' Melayro Bogarde, who combined the sleek black and orange his side's away kit with the adidas F50 Adzero Prime. Sublime

Ian Maatsen (Netherlands U21) adidas X Speedflow+

The special edition adidas 'Numbers Up' pack, which was inspired by the player ratings on FIFA 22, has been getting a lot of love on the pitch recently, and Ian Maatsen was one of the latest to be spotted in the X Speedflow+ during the U21 match between Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Giada Greggi (AS Roma Women) adidas X Speedflow Messi .1

Also from the adidas 'Numbers Up' pack was the signature edition X Speedflow .1 for Lionel Messi, and AS Roma's Giada Greggi wore them for her side's 1-1 draw with AC Milan.

Jeff Hendrick (Republic of Ireland) adidas Predator Precision

Back in the Republic of Ireland camp, and Jeff Hendrick pulled out the adidas Predator Precision DB from the '25 Years of Predator' collection, which dropped back in early 2019.

Hermione Cull (Arsenal Women) adidas Predator Freak+

From past Predator to present Predator, and Arsenal's Hermione Cull was spotted in the Predator Freak+ from last season's 'Showpiece' pack. Unfortunately the 5-1 mauling at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions league was probably not quite the showpiece she had in mind...
