Global Boot Spotting

Plenty of new and upcoming releases on show on pitches across Europe as the brands play their last cards for the final stages of the season. It’s Monday, which means it’s time for some good ol’ Boot Spotting.

Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) Nike Mercurial Vapor 14

The Nike Progress Pack was rolled out for the Champions League recently, and after its debut in the women's competition last week it was the turn of the men this week. Robert Lewandowski wore the Mercurial Vapor 14 in Bayern's surprise 1-0 defeat to Villarreal.

Kai Havertz (Chelsea) Nike Phantom GT II DF

Chelsea have had better days in the Champions League. The defending champions were put to the sword by Real Madrid and specifically Karin Benzema. Kai Havertz managed to get one back for the Blues, and he did so in the Nike Phantom GT II DF from the Progress Pack.

Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Leipzig) Nike Mercurial Superfly 8

Although not a Champions League match, Dominik Szoboszlai completed the Nike Progress Pack for this week when he scored his sides third and final goal in the Mercurial Superfly 8 during the 3-0 Bundesliga win over Hoffenheim.

Achraf Hakimi (PSG) adidas X Speedflow +

Looks like the latest boot pack from adidas is set to drop any day now, with pros across Europe making the switch into the latest colourway. One such was Achraf Hakimi, who debuted the new X Speedflow + in PSG's impressive 6-1 win over Clermont.

Mo Salah (Liverpool) adidas X Speedflow .1

This weekend's matches didn't come much bigger than the Premier League clash between Manchester City and Liverpool, and the Reds' star forward, Mo Salah, wore the new adidas X Speedflow .1 colourway. It's a look that's already been spotted on the feet of the likes of Erling Haaland in recent weeks.

Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli) adidas COPA Sense +

If you're after the latest Adidas COPA Sense colourways, then a sure bet is usually to look on the feet of Napoli's Lorenzo Insigne. The Argentine wore the upcoming adidas COPA Sense + in his side's surprise 3-2 defeat to Fiorentina.

Oliver Giroud (AC Milan) PUMA Ultra 1.4

PUMA finally completed the Instinct Pack this week when they released the new silvery look for the Ultra 1.4. And the brand's Ultra stars duly made the switch into the new colourway, including Oliver Giroud, who wore them in AC Milan's 0-0 draw with Torino.

Michail Antonio (West Ham) Nike Mercurial Air Zoom Ultra SE

Lot of time for Michail Antonio switching into the limited edition Mercurial Air Zoom Ultra for West Ham's away match against Brentford. Shame the Hammers couldn't do them justice, slipping to a 2-0 defeat.

Pacha Espino (Cadiz CF) adidas Predator Edge LZ +

Pacha Espino is the latest player to switch into the adidas 'Unite Football' Predator Edge LZ+, wearing them in his last two fixtures against Valencia and Real Betis.

Virgil Van Dijk (Liverpool) Nike Tiempo Legend 9

One of the Tiempo's leading men finally made the switch to the latest colourway, with Virgila Van Dijk wearing the Nike Blueprint Pack look in the entertaining 2-2 draw between Liverpool and Man City. Have to say that it goes well with his side's home kit...

Enzo Barrenechea (Juventus u23) adidas Predator Edge +

Rare sight to see the adidas 'Edge of Darkness' Predator Edge + on the feet of a professional player, but Juventus u23 player Enzo Barrenechea opted for them in a recent training session.
