James Maddison (England) PUMA Future Ultimate

Following his first international cap, which came off the bench Three-and-a-half years ago, James Maddison made his long-awaited full debut for England in yesterday's win over Ukraine, and he did so in the PUMA Future Ultimate from the 'Brilliance' pack, released in celebration of the women's game.

Cristiana Girelli (Juventus) PUMA Ultra Ultimate

The second of the 'Brilliance Pack' was spotted on the feet of Cristiana Girelli, who wore the Ultra Ultimate in Juve's 3-1 win over Inter.

Harry Kane (England) Nike Phantom GX

In case you missed it, Harry Kane became England's all-time leading scorer when he notched from the spot against Italy on Thursday, and to commemorate the occasion, Nike gave him a special pair of Phantom GX. The striker duly wore them (and scored in them, natch) in the match against Ukraine.

Mahmoud Dahoud (Borussia Dortmund) PUMA King Ultimate

The latest player to switch into the all-new PUMA King Ultimate is Borussia Dortmund's Mahmoud Dahoud, who wore the revamped silo in a recent training session.

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund) PUMA Ultra Ultimate

Sticking with Borussia Dortmund training, and Marco Reus not only showed off what looks to be an upcoming colourway of the PUMA Ultra Ultimate, he also did it in his trademark fashion, by removing the laces!

Rafael Leao (Portugal) adidas X Speedportal +

adidas Released the Parley pack recently, presenting its three key silos (Predator Edge, X Speedportal, COPA Pure) in versions created using recycled plastics from the ocean. Several key players have since made the switch into these boots, and Rafael Leao is one of the latest, with the Portuguese wearing the X Speedportal for his nation's games against Lichtenstein and Luxembourg.

Lionel Messi (Argentina) adidas X Speedportal

For Argentina's first match since winning the World Cup, Lionel Messi opted to wear the same signature boot that he wore in Qatar, albeit with a slight tweak – on the forefoot of his adidas X Speedportal were three stars, representing his nation's three World Cup wins.

Matias Soule (Juventus) Next-Gen adidas X Prototype

We've already had a glimpse of the next generation of adidas's X silo on the feet of PSG's Hugo Ekitike, but now we get another look courtesy of Juventus's Matias Soule. Expect to see more of this boot as we near the release, likely to be around June/July.

The Republic of Ireland camp has been a great place for some Boot SPotting this week, and who better to start with than James McClean. The veteran trained in the Nike Mercurial Superfly VI CR7 Chapter VI boots, matching the green hues with his nation's new Castore gear.

Mikey Johnston (Republic of Ireland) Nike Mercurial Vapor XI

Continuing the contest of best matching boots with the Ireland kit, Mikey Johnston rolled back the clock to 2016 with the Nike Mercurial Vapor XI 'Dark Lightning'. Its black base is joined by blue and green lines, with the latter giving a definite Irish tinge to the look.

Completing an Irish hat trick, Matt Doherty was spotted early on in training in the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Vapor XV DS006, although he switched into the 'Generation Pack' version for game time.
