Vini Jr Debuts New Signature Nike Mercurial

Nike gifted Vini Jr his own signature Mercurial back in December to commemorate being named ‘Best FIFA Men’s Player 2024’. However, at the time and since, Vini has been wearing the Vapor I RGN. Until earlier this week when we saw him lace up his own signature boot in preparation for Thursday night's game.

Last night in the Supercopa de España, Vini Jr debuted his own signature Mercurial. After a video was posted in December of Vini dancing away in the fresh white boots, questions were asked about when he would finally show these off on the pitch. Questions were answered last night as he danced his way to a 3-0 win for Real Madrid in them.

Since only seeing glimpses of the boot in the video, we got to have a better look at the boot earlier in the week when Vini showed the signature Mercurial off in training ahead of last night’s game. Although not on the score sheet, the Brazilian was involved in the build up to Bellingham’s goal and showcased his skills making some incredible runs past a panicking Mallorca back-line.

The boot is made for the best, with a clean all white look finished with silver detailing across – including the iconic Nike Swoosh over the forefoot and the ‘Air’ logo across the heel. This is crowned with a silver chrome finish on the sole plate, leaving Vini to shine on the pitch in more ways than one. Moving on to the more subtle details, the Vini Jr signature logo and number 7 feature on the tongue area of the mercurials as well as the lateral side of each. It’s a boot perfect for ‘joga bonito’ and we can’t wait to see Vini dancing through more defenders in them.

Unfortunately, these boots are limited to Vini and unavailable to buy.
