With the first week of the Champions League fixtures dropping and all sorts of scorelines packing a serious punch, BT Sport have returned with their troop of illustrators to land their 16/17 instalment of the #ChampionsDraw.
A strong way to cross the divide between football and illustration, in total there are twelve illustrators involved in the competition that will run along side the Champions League. As the tournament progresses, each illustration will be pitched along side another, with the illustrator or designer with the most engagement going through to the respective next round.
Last season saw five artists go head-to-head in a knockout competition with eventual winner Dan Leydon's work generating huge interest across Twitter and Instagram. This year the number of artists has doubled, with each British team being covered for every game in the group stages.
