Bakary Sako brought more custom flair to the Premier League at the weekend as he made his first appearance of the season wearing another sublime piece of artwork on his Nike Mercurial Superfly V boots.

The man behind the design of the 'Dragon Ball Z' artwork is Paris-based artist Pierre Navarro, aka Orravan Designs. Pierre has skilfully created a collection of bespoke cartoon-based designs for the Crystal Palace midfielder, titled the "MANGA Collection" and Sako wore the first 100% hand-painted design against Southampton at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Pierre has customised boots for a long list of professional players including Lukas Podolski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as well as customising everything from tees to hats to headphones in his trademark Swarovski crystal style. For this project though, it was all executed in hand-painted style, with all eight boots finished in a different Manga (Japanese Comic) creation.

This isn't the first time Pierre and Sako have joined forces. Back in 2014 Sako leant on the services of Pierre to create a custom Mercurial design with a Swarovski finish to mark his 100th game for previous club Wolverhampton Wanderers (below). Since then, Pierre has gone on to increase his cliental in the professional football game and establish himself as the king of custom design when it comes to hand-painted and bespoke football boots.

Keep an eye out for Sako taking to the pitch all four designs this season in the Premier League. You can follow Pierre's work here.
