adidas Telstar 2018 Bike Helmets by Jyo John Mulloor

The FIFA World Cup is a creative playground for the biggest names on the playground. While on the pitch it serves up a spectacle, off it, it's a chance for minds to blossom with excitement. Combining creative energy and the anticipation of the 2018 instalment, designer Jyo John Mulloor has produced this concept that reworks the official 2018 Telstar match ball by adidas with a bike helmet.

Left field though looking good, this idea blends three versions of the 2018 Telstar match ball and applies it to a different scene. Abstract though cruising into football with a creative lick of paint, it's a strong concept that nods to football from a fresh direction.

Describing the idea, Jyo explains, "The biggest event of 2018 comes back to inspire and I am no exception! If soccer is going to be on everyone's mind might as well be literally so. This is a fan-art based concept that transforms the FIFA football with its 3 official colors into an intriguing 'head' ball. My idea and its execution are mere conceptualisation, but logos used in the process are copyrighted under their owners and were only used to render the idea cohesively."

Showing what can be done with a match ball when you break out side the walls of convention, it's a fanatical take on proceedings as Russia 2018 looms closer. You can see more work by Jyo here.
