Creative Soccer Culture

La Copa Del Mundo by Ricardo Mondragon

Giving official player shots a lick of paint, designer Ricardo Modragon has thrown his cards into the ring as we begin a countdown to the FIFA 2018 World Cup.

A set of cards that are presented as the ultimate keepsake, this creative offering is one that is served digitally but would go down a storm if served up in Panini fashion. People from all over the globe may be shredding through stickers but these cards offer a whole new level of good.

The World Cup continues to blossom as a real creative opportunity and many use it as a chance to crash creative talents and a passion for the game together. Every four years we see more and more come to the fore and each one gives a different take on where football and design finds itself. This concept, though simple, shines with a strong delivery.

Cue the arrival of way out there wall charts that range from ultra minimalist straight lines to a graphic chaos and a footballing melee. All are welcome. Could this be the most creative World Cup to date? Just the 79 days until it all kicks off...
