A final year project right up our street - Katrine Sæter has created this beautiful work of art marking the adidas journey through history.
In Katrine's own words, "This book is the result of my Final Major Project. I chose to do a project about football boots. Not just any football boots, but Adidas football boots. I have been doing research on the history behind these fantastic boots, which is one of the oldest in today ́s market. Through pictures, illustrations, interviews, infographics and text, I show the evolution of Adidas football boots. How they have gone from being just a black and white boot to kick a ball with, to become a piece of fashion."
"I used an old print technique called cyanotype, because the worn and old expression it gives to the pages, which is suitable to the content. The book is made in same materials as football boots, with black leather and studs."
