SETTPACE Creates "POGBOOM 2016" Manchester United Concept Kit

Remember when Paul Pogba marketing just required putting the prefix “POG” in front of other words circa 2016? Well designer SETTPACE certainly does, drawing influence for a Manchester United “POGBOOM 2016” concept kit.

Back in 2016, prior to his much-hyped move back to United, Paul Pogba was the main man, gaining mass approval for his performances at Juve. His global appeal and rapidly rising star soon saw him signing a ten-year deal with adidas, and soon after he was rewarded with his own signature ACE 16+ Purecontrol. They arrived on the scene edged in gold but with a snake skin-esque black base, and it’s this that serves as inspiration for SETTPACE’s latest creation.

Based around a proposed “POGBOOM” collection, the Manchester United concept sees the snake skin approach being used as a sublimated graphic base, presented in black and white, with the silky monochrome look broken up by flashes of red through the branding, sponsor, club crest and collar and cuff detailing.
