Having recently teased the creation of the momentous hybrid creation, The Shoe Surgeon has now unveiled his finished adidas Predator Mania x Balenciaga sneaker in all its finished glory.
This one will likely go one of two ways: either you’ll love the creative crossover of cultures, which arrives in a celebration of the adidas x Balenciaga collaboration; or you’ll absolutely detest the sacrilegious attack on one of the most iconic boots of all time. Still, you just never know when you might end up getting a free kick 25 yards out when you’re out on the Pornstar Martinis – best to be prepared for all eventualities.
The Shoe Surgeon, aka Dominic Ciambrone, is a custom creator known for his sneaker crossovers, and he’s always taken favourably to soccer-inspired designs, having previously created one off designs including a Copa Mundial Boost, Tiempo '94 x Jordan 1, Nemeziz x Yeezy Boost, and Copa Rose Whiteout – none of which have been officially released to market.
For this latest project he has taken the iconic adidas Predator Mania and swapped out the outsole for a Balenciaga sneaker. The results are undoubtedly impressive, whether you like it or not. No word on whether this will be available for retail, although we're guessing likely not.
