While many teams fight to break the mould through innovative means, Forest Green Rovers are cut from an entirely bespoke cloth. Releasing a link up with influential artist collaboration collective AnyForty and their global roster of talent for the new range, which celebrates the club’s first season in the Football League.

The collection is vivid and entirely diverse as it crosses graphic culture with football lifestyle threads. Very much an off the pitch winner that takes influence from on the pitch happenings. Working with a wealth of talent and various artists, the capsule collection is made up of tees, sweats and hoodies AnyForty have crafted with the highly in demand French graphic artist, Davy Le Chevance aka SHORT, who is working out of Portland, USA.

SHORT’s first design juices play-up the mighty Green Devil of Forest Green with a fresh new look, while the second design, a nod to classic American postcard art is inspired by an iconic photo of FGR striker Keanu Marsh-Brown which was taken from a triumphant 16/17 season which saw the club rise into the Football League for the first time in their history.

Getting into the design detail and not stopping here Al Wardle from AnyForty, describes the collaboration, “Growing up in the North East, i'm a huge football fan and I had it drilled into me from a early age. I’ve been admiring the Forest Green Rovers story from afar over the last 12 months, and i’ve been really impressed with what they are doing down in the West Country. I’m super proud that AnyForty’s first foray into working with a professional sports team is with a forward thinking club like FGR, it’s been a absolute pleasure to create a line of apparel for the fans unlike anything you’ll see in club shops around the country and we both can’t wait to build on our working relationship into the New Year, we’ve some great stuff already planned!”

A fresh way to approach the game with a serious drop of appreciated design it's a collaboration that sits well with a club like Forest Green, a club famously known as "the world’s only vegan football club", FIFA described them recently as “the world’s greenest football club”. Having found footing in the Football League after promotion from the National League last season, their momentum is building and the announcement of a new all wooden stadium only backs up the ethical nature by which they are making waves.

All items have been screen printed in the UK and are ethically sourced and created. They can be ordered now via the club’s online shop.
