Kappa Launch Football-Flavoured Kalcio Collection

Kappa take more statement strides into the terrace scene as they unveil their new 'Kappa Kalcio' collection for SS19. The Italian sportswear label are a household fixture when it comes to football-infused fashion, and the latest collection is another lifestyle capsule influenced by modern football culture.

The footballing influence is pretty route one with this collection considering the word "Calcio" literally means "football" in Italian. The title might be obvious but the actual aesthetic is still one that embraces football styling in a subtle and premium way. Each clothing piece from the capsule features footballing DNA, from the Bouvilly track jacket and Bigily track pants, to the Boloxi tee, Boltec shorts, and the Wreathy tank.

The colour theme of the collection is "Black/High-Visibility Orange," “Yellow Fluo/Black” and “White/Red” – with the collection rounded off with football socks, a pair of sneakers, and a football. Kappa have strong ties to the game; mainly from a serious on-pitch presence in the 90s and 00s. Kappa are still an official kit supplier for Napoli, Torino & Sassuolo, but their biggest moves these days are building on their history of being one of the most influential labels on the football fashion and terrace culture scene. Big fan of the double logos dominating this collection. Smart.
