Umbro Launch Loyle Carner FC Shirt

Bringing some retro vibes to its collab game, Umbro has linked up with Hip Hop artist, Loyle Carner for a special England-inspired shirt that’s packing some serious throwback flavour.

The Umbro x Loyle Carner FC shirt may look familiar. That’s because it’s based on the England Euro 2000 design, Loyle’s favourite Three Lions shirt. You know, the one England wore when they won the… oh, no, wait a minute, it’s just a decent looking kit is all. Fair enough Loyle. With a taste for retro football stylings that's previously seen him exchanging tickets for his tour for classic shirts, Loyle once again demonstrates his love for a good vintage.

The basic template here takes a white base with a dark circular collar and sleeve cuffs, but the look is embellished by the presence of Loyle FC's special crest, which sits alongside the iconic number '7' in red on the front and back of the shirt. ‘Carner’ also appears on the back to round off the look.

The shirt is due to be released this Friday alongside his new album, ‘Not Waving, But Drowning’, which releases on the same day. And you’ll get a digital copy of the album when you pre-order a shirt. But in Loyle’s own words the shirts are “very limited and once they’re gone they’re gone,” so if you’re after one, best not sit around waiting.
