Taking a huge dose of influence from Northern England and winter on the terraces at British football stadiums, adidas SPEZIAL launch their Fall/Winter 2019 collection. Autumnal hues aplenty across the range of footwear and apparel.
Watching the game in the deepest dark of winter on these shores takes a certain amount of grit that’s part of the DNA in the North. Also doesn’t hurt to have a decent jacket, and the adidas Spezial FW19 collection duly obliges, combining modern technological innovations with archival designs.
The seasonal collection features a range of footwear, including a standout “Navy/Gold” SL80 SPZL, and the recently unveiled Blackburn SPZL. Completing the footwear side of things is the adidas Winterhill SPZL, which comes constructed in adi-tex, and the premium leather Hoddlesden SPZL sneaker.
On the apparel front, the collection boasts the Rossendale, which is a classic take on the fishtail parka, alongside the Belthorn anorak, Liner vest and longsleeve and short sleeve T-shirts.
With Liam Gallagher having recently received his own Spezial collaboration, the relationship between the Gallagher family and the adidas Spezial line has been further cemented with Liam’s son Gene fronting the collection.
