With the crossover between football and fashion continuously growing in influence you can always expect to see a bit of football culture spilling onto the catwalk, and with London Fashion Week in full swing we got a little taste of the beautiful game from Astrid Andersen’s latest collaboration with Hummel Hive.
Astrid Andersen is fashion label based in Copenhagen that specialises in creating premium casualwear with a sport inspired aesthetic, and Andersen herself chose London Fashion Week to offer a tease of her upcoming collaboration with Hummel. The apparel collection was announced on the back of the debut of the Astrid Andersen x Hummel Reach LX Sneaker, and it brings together the heritage of Denmark's oldest sportswear brand with one of the most defining contemporary designers in luxury sportswear.
The collection, which sees some retro block colouring thrown across tracksuits and an orange jersey that boasts some serious vintage vibes, was teased in a set of exclusive images shot backstage at the Astrid Andersen show during LFW Men by photographer Ashley Verse ahead of the full release in summer 2020.
No official launch date for the Astrid Andersen x Hummel collection, but expect sometime in summer 2020.
