Nike Hook Up With Nadia Atique For Bespoke LFC Hoodie

Taking a bespoke approach to the Liverpool partnership, the Nike By You studio have partnered with fashion designer and Liverpool mega-fan Nadia Atique, and the result is a limited run of Merseyside-red hoodies, customised in her unique style.

Nadia Atique does not hide her support of Liverpool, turning heads around the world in her final year graduation project with a considered collection inspired by Liverpool football club that celebrated the culture of the city while taking inspiration from her own heritage. Since then she’s gone on to feature in 47’s “This Means More” series, focusing her creative talents on the club once more. And now she’s back doing what she loves with the club she loves, only this time its under the Swoosh banner.

The limited Merseyside-red hoodies that Nadia created reflects her values as a designer. Inspired by diversity, she creates work that challenges stereotypes of Muslim women, while defying expectations of what a football fan looks like – an outlook that enriches the game, off and on the pitch. With “Tell Us Never” on the front and “YNWA” on the back, available in English and Arabic, the hoodie is Liverpool (and Nadia) through and through.

Nadia has also created a set of exclusive patches, inspired by Liverpool FC and brought to life through her singular approach to design. They feature references to the city’s unmistakable character, her favourite club and her Yemeni heritage. From “YNWA” Arabic, to “Scouse Solidarity” and the Mersey motto “Boss It”, the designs honour the club’s proud heritage while pointing to the bold future of a truly diverse city.

When we say these hoodies are limited we mean it: when they’re gone, they’re gone. Head to the Nike By You Studio at NikeTown London to get yours. The LFC patches are also available now in the Nike By You Studio at the same location.
